Hon. Attorney-General,

His Excellency the Governor wishes the Crow Solicitor to communicate at once with the Editors of the "China Mail" and "Hongkong Daily Press" regarding a letter which appeared in those newspapers last evening and this morning signed "Wireless", in forming them that in the opinion of the Government the letter constitutes a libel on the Assistant District Officer (South), Mr. E. W. Hamilton, and that unless a full and complete apology is forthcoming in the next issues of their newspapers the Goverment will take action for libel against them.
